Still Becoming: Learning to Sit With Myself 🌿✨
A few days later, I found myself scrolling through my own posts. There were many of them — layered with thoughts, reflections, emotions. At first, it felt overwhelming. But then something deeper settled within me: every single post was part of the same journey. Becoming.
Here at VAH AFRIKA, we believe growth is not a straight line — it is a sacred unfolding. None of those words were wasted. They were footprints.
Some things still haven’t moved. The car is still stationary. Life feels paused in certain areas. At first, it felt like a pullback — mentally, emotionally, physically. But I stopped fighting. I stopped blaming. I began sitting with it.
And I’m here now — choosing presence over resistance.
“You have everything. You lack nothing. These are just minor setbacks.” That reminder grounded me deeply.
Becoming is not constant progress. It is awareness.
Life needs structure. Seasons for self. Seasons for others. Seasons for craft. Without structure, energy scatters. Here at VAH AFRIKA, we call this scattered fire — powerful, but unfocused.
If I cannot say no to myself, I cannot say no to the world.
I may not be where I want to be yet. But I see differently now. And maybe that is becoming.
A Simple Structure for Becoming 🕰️
Morning — Self First
• Wake up without rushing
• No phone for 30 minutes
• Write honestly
• Set one intention
Midday — Responsibilities
• Work, errands, people
• Stay present
Afternoon — Craft
• Focus on one task
• No multitasking
Evening — Reflection
• Ask what gave or drained energy
Night — Rest
• No self-judgment
• Just rest
